Auto Campaigns

Auto campaigns are behavior-triggered — they automatically find and target users based on their events, actions, and properties.

When to Use

Use auto campaigns when the timing depends on user behavior: welcome messages on first open, re-engagement after inactivity, cart abandonment recovery, milestone celebrations, and more.

Creating an Auto Campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns → New Campaign → Auto
  2. Set the trigger event (e.g., cart_abandoned)
  3. Define targeting rules (optional) to narrow the audience
  4. Write your message with title, body, and optional deep link
  5. Add localizations for other languages
  6. Set a cooldown to control frequency
  7. Click Activate

Lifecycle

Auto campaigns have three states: Draft (editing), Active (running), and Paused (stopped). You can pause and resume at any time without losing configuration.
